Howard R. Snyder was a founding member of Wortman, Fumuso, Kelly, DeVerna & Snyder where he practiced for 35 years in the defense of medical and hospital malpractice defense as well as other areas of negligence and insurance law.
He has over 41 years of experience as a highly respected and successful trial lawyer, handling complex cases of very high exposure. He chose to leave his firm in 2016 to join Bower Law P.C. and has enhanced its reputation with his high quality litigation skills and renowned ethical practice.
Howard received his B.A. from Queens College of the City University of New York in 1971. He subsequently attended the University of Florida College of Law, graduating with a J.D. degree in 1974. He is admitted to the New York State Bar, the Southern and Eastern Federal Districts of New York and the United States Supreme Court.
In addition to his legal practice, Howard has lectured to various physician groups with regard to methods of avoiding malpractice suits and how to deal with them when they occur.
