Edward L. Soyka, an associate with the firm, has over 10 years of experience in healthcare and tort litigation, defending the interests of hospitals, long term care facilities, physicians, and other medical professionals as well as defending New York State Labor Law cases and premises liability matters. Mr. Soyka has also defended physicians before the New York State Office of Professional Medical Conduct.
Mr. Soyka began his legal career at a prestigious professional liability firm located in New York City and recently came to Bower. Monte & Greene, P.C. from a major international law firm defending medical professionals as well as all areas of insurance law.
Mr. Soyka is a member of the New York Bar Association and New York City Bar Association He is also active in raising funds for ALS Association of New York as well as Children’s Cancer & Blood Foundation at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Born in New York City and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, Mr. Soyka received his High School degree from Dwight Englewood School in Englewood, New Jersey, Bachelor of Arts from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and received his Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law.
